Found my new place to go for writing prompts: Oneword.com. The prompts are one word each, and you only have one minute to write. It’s kind of really awesome. I’m going to try to do one of these every day. I like doing these and working the actual prompt word into them.
Anyway, here’s what I wrote for today’s prompt, “montage”:
A stack of pictures strewn across the hardwood floor; memories from a life shared between two loves as the days and years rolled by. The montage of photos brought a tear to his eye as aged fingers lifted a wedding photo from the pile. She was gone now, but never forgotten.
